Finding a great Wedding venue in London can be done with ease, as there are several fantastic venues to choose from. It is important to choose a venue with a nice view or interesting background for your photos, because you will want them to look as nice as possible.
If you are looking to have some unusual photos of your wedding day, there is no reason why you can’t go on a little tour of the area! If you are coming from abroad to marry in London, some classic photos of the bride and groom next to red phone boxes, classic London double deckers or outside Buckingham Palace would make for interesting viewing in your wedding album. The venue of your wedding and ceremony isn’t the only place you could have photos taken, but if you are after an unusual but stylish setting, we recommend these ones highly.
The Purple Door
This venue hosts wedding receptions for up to 600 people, giving the bride plenty of room for wedding decor .The Purple Door also has a beautiful spiral glass staircase at it’s entrance, which would make a lovely backdrop for some special wedding photos or a video of your big day. This is a simple and elegant venue, best for large and formal weddings which would make use of the kitchen space and other ‘back of house’ areas (perhaps for different photo backdrops or a room for getting ready…)
Similar to this, we have a popular venue called Warehouse 89. Perfect for large weddings which demand a lot of space, and with it’s industrial style and original features it would make a very interesting backdrop to any photos you will have taken. It is a basement area, so no need to worry about noise or views of traffic in the background of your wedding video either. The purple mood lighting will create a warm and fun atmosphere for your evening do, while the pure white of the daytime will allow for simplicity and style.
